sure a lot of folks remember the Redneckjunk.com fiasco. Just because of the word “redneck”, they weren’t allowed to sponsor Cope’s car several years ago. Now that’s one we heard about. How many sponsors have there been with words like “redneck” in the name have we not heard about? How many historical organizations have been denied the right to sponsor a car because of their name disagrees with His Highness’ PC philosophy? How much damage has been done to the sport in the quest for being the great and almighty PC organization that NA$CAR isn’t and never has been? Talk about being detrimental to the sport of stock car racing.
I’m not going to address the Chase for the Chumps as I think we’ve all seen what a disaster it has been since it started.
I’ll be rather curious to see if BSPN shows the whole truth about Tim Richmond and how Little Bill went out of his way to destroy Tim and rigged the drug tests to get him out of NA$CAR.
The team owners meeting to discuss cost cutting and NA$CAR, the National Association for Spec Car Auto Racing, wasn’t present. Well, don’t worry. I’m sure that Slick Rick filled in his good buddy Faux King Brian on most everything that was discussed and who said what. I’ve already written about how the teams could save money, so no need to rehash that. But from what I’m hearing some things His Highness may not have been informed of are some contingency plans the owners put together in the event that Brian’s Big Top Circus has to fold up its‘ tent. This goes back to a meeting the 4 big team owners had with Bruton the Bald 3-4 years ago behind closed doors and the contents of which were never discussed or released to the public. Could the Bruton Racing League be waiting in the wings for Faux King Brian‘s next major mistake?
If Marcos Ambrose is going to RPM as is being reported, you can bet that Ford is ponying up some bucks to make that deal happen either in cash or increased support to RPM. Marcos has a long history with Ford and I think both he and Ford were a bit shocked when JTG changed car brands out of the blue.
Also, it looks like my information of RPM turning into a start and park operation seems to be off some. They managed to find some money from somewhere but don’t rule it out quite yet. They’re still having money problems and are still looking for sponsorship in a major way. Next season I wouldn’t expect to see more than a 2 car team. If they do field a 3rd car, it’ll be a major accomplishment. The one driver we do know of for sure who will be back next season is Dinger.
Earlier I had mentioned that Ted Musgrave would be in Robby’s #7 car for Pocono. It seems that Robby changed his mind about that. As Robby hasn’t been able to find sponsorship yet, he thought he’d be doing a major disservice to Ted by putting him in the car. So expect to see Ted back in the #7 at another race.
Almost a week after McMurray won at Indy and the lamestream media is still saying that it was a Ganassi car that won the race. The ownership papers say that the car belongs to Mother Teresa which means the car is a DEI car. While Ganassi may be calling the shots at the track, he’s not the actual owner. I’m not trying to take anything away from anybody here just trying to get the lamestream media to get the facts straight instead of them creating a story which doesn’t exist. But then, that’s nothing for them.
Mafia Mike wants driver to speak but not to be critical of the weekly show or the sanctioning body. Interesting. I guess we’re supposed to believe that all 43 drivers are going to gather in Victory Lane and sing “Everything is Beautiful” while drinking Kool Aid and wearing rose colored glasses. Like it or not, the drivers are still going to complain about the WWE on Wheels especially if that’s the way things continue to be run. They just won’t be doing it in public. So, any drivers out there who are less than thrilled about the heavy-handed tactics being used to suppress your opinions drop me a line.
At $50,000 a pop for saying something “bad” (the truth) about Brian’s Big Top, I wonder how many millions I would’ve racked up? Probably enough to start a new, real stock car racing series that actually runs stock cars. Wow, what a concept. Actually racing stock cars in a stock car racing series. Who’d have thought that would be an original idea? Obviously not Faux King Brian. Just think of the millions His Highness would be fined for comments detrimental to the sport. We’ll start with my favorite one. “I know what’s best for the sport”. “The Chase will be exciting”. Do I need to go on? Let’s just say he could’ve paid for the repaving of Daytona with all the remarks he’s made that have been “detrimental to the sport”.
In the aftermath of Dean Wormer’s Double Secret Probation fines, both Newman and Hamlin have admitted to being nailed for their comments. However, there are some other comments that have been made which got my interest.
"If nobody knows, nobody is going to learn from the mistakes of others. I think people were going to find out one way or another." - Denny Hamlin in regards to the fines being made public
"I don't know how that will snowball and what that will turn into, but I think that's the intent. I don't know. I'm nervous to say anything." - Cousin Carl when asked about the secret fines
"Do you think that's the only secret?" - Ryan Newman when asked about keeping the fines secret
"We have an open door and will discuss any topic with the drivers." - Minister of Propaganda
"Living it like I do, everything that NASCAR does, from a competition side, is above board and out there and open in front of everyone to look at and to pay attention to and to form opinions on and report on" - Jimmie Johnson on possible fallout from the double secret probation fines
You can bet that Newman’s remark about “do you think that’s the only secret” is one I find very intriguing. No Ryan, I know that’s not the only secret. And a lot of fans suspect that’s not the only secret. I think this is the quickest one of the secrets that came out considering how long it’s taken others to come out. Like The King’s oversized engine or Bill Jr’s stooges tampering with Tim Richmond’s urine samples or Bill Sr. keeping
Wendell Scott from getting sponsorship or
factory support. I exposed the secrets of the Car
of Travesty and how it came about several years
ago. I also exposed how Robby Gordon was
being intentionally screwed with by NA$CAR. So
I know there are plenty of secrets Ryan. It’s just
a matter of who’s willing to come forth and
expose the rest of them. Whether it’s by
themselves or through somebody who’s not
worried about having their credentials taken
away because they don’t have credentials to
worry about losing.
As to the Minister of Propaganda’s statement,
let the drivers, owners, and crew chiefs say
which of them actually support Jeremy Mayfield and which ones think he’s was intentionally screwed by NA$CAR and lift the gag order on the garage and on folks holding card cards.
Jimmie, I don’t know what planet you’re on but I’ve already heard from a number of fans who have already decided to either quit attending races or won’t be watching on TV because of this secret fine garbage. You can expect to see fan fallout in the form of even more empty seats at the track and even lower TV ratings from the fans watching at home. I’m being real here folks, not a doomsayer.
And say a few prayers for Brandon who’s heading to Iraq for another tour of duty there and pray for a safe return. Pocono was Brandon’s and his dad Ty’s last race together until Brandon gets back. And thanks Brandon for keeping us safe here at home.
