ONLY TIME BROTHER

Over the years we have had many sets of brothers racing Cup at the same time.  The Flocks, Allisons, Labontes, Wallaces and the list goes on.

On September 30 1952, something happened in Cup racing that has never been repeated.  In a 100 mile race at Raleigh Speedway, Fonty Flock finished first followed by Herb Thomas in second.

The never repeated feat was who finished third & fourth.  Fonty’s brother Tim finished third and Herb’s brother Donald finished fourth.
It is the only time in Cup history that has happened.
