WHAT TO DO
DRIVERS APPEARANCES
Appearances are posted from a week before race day up until a few days before. Many times there isn't advanced notice, go by the souvenir haulers and look for the signs. (Go on Friday if possible)
Reed Sorenson tries to visit his souvenir trailer at the race track each weekend to sign autographs. Be sure to stop by the Target trailer and check for times.
NASCAR Day in Sacramento Saturday, June 14, 2008
Join Infineon Raceway and your fellow NASCAR fans by celebrating NASCAR in Northern California on the steps of the State Capitol building in Sacramento on Saturday, June 14, at the 3rd annual NASCAR Day in Sacramento. This day will feature a parade of cars around the capitol buildings, interactive displays, giveaways and much more.
Race-n-Rock Charity Auction
It's your chance to bid on the opportunity to ride alongside one of the top NASCAR stars during pre-event ceremonies around the twisting road course. You can also bid on one-of-a-kind signed racing memorabilia and much more! All proceeds benefit Speedway Children's Charities.
Track Talk
Infineon Raceway will open its road course to the public following the Toyota/Save Mart 350 with the raceway's 3rd annual Track Walk. Race fans will be allowed to roam around the 10-turn, 1.99-mile road course beginning approximately 30 minutes after the checkered flag falls on the NASCAR Sprint Cup event. To make it even more fun, the raceway will hide five golden lug nuts around the road course, each of which is redeemable for a valuable prize.
PRE RACE 2008
Race fans will want to be in their seats well before the green flag drops on the Toyota/Save Mart 350 to enjoy all of the pre-race entertainment festivities. You'll be treated to pre-race music, fly-bys, driver introductions and much more in anticipation of the main event.
SPEEDTV STAGE
Many Thanks to Diana Rose from www.infineonraceway.com for all the help.
The SPEED Stage will be set-up at the North end of the paddock, just behind the main grandstand. Very close to the entrance of the pedestrian tunnel that crosses under the start/finish line of the road course.

Within about 15 miles from the track in nearby Vallejo, CA is Six Flags Marine World. With a wildlife park, oceanarium and theme park, there is something for everyone. You can scream as you ride Medusa an extreme roller coaster. Or you can fed giraffes, seals or sea lions. Or how about riding an elephant?
How about a visit to Sonoma State Historic park? Sonoma State Historic Park is in the center of the charming old town of Sonoma, surrounded by shops, and nearby wineries. This historic park includes a variety of beautifully restored historic properties, such as the Sonoma Mission, Blue Wing Inn, La Casa Grande Site, The Plaza, General Vallejo's Home, Toscano Hotel, and the Sonoma Barracks. We are in the middle of wine country so go visit a winery I found over 17 in Sonoma alone. One word of caution; if visiting a winery in Sonoma you are less likely to be charged for taste testing than if you visit one in Napa Valley.
Into trains? Sonoma’s Train Town includes three full sized cabooses, dating from the 1930's and 40's which you will be able to explore at your leisure. Board a train and travel over five bridges and trestles and thru two tunnels. You will arrive at lakeview and a petting zoo.
