BLACK FLAG FROM JIM B: The distance from MIS to the highway is 33 miles, on monday, it took us from 11am until 2ish, that is correct 3 hours to go 33miles.  A bag of ice went from $5 to $8 in 1 year, a 15X25 camp site, owned by MIS goes for $150 for the week, in 1 year there are now less showers, less portable toilets, and more people.  I am mad just remembering what went on

Tram Routes
Tram pick-up and drop-off points are located throughout the speedway.

This tram and parking map should help you plan for a quicker trip and an enjoyable experience before and after the race! Also, look for our tram stop signs throughout the lots.  MAP

Yellow trams will depart from the hubs to a tram spot located near Parking Lot 9. Those who park in the Graves parking/camping area, also known as Parking Lot 14, can catch the orange tram to the Parking Lot 14 tram spot. The green tram will shuttle fans to tram spots near Parking Lots 7 and 8 while the blue tram will arrive near Parking Lot 6 outside of Turn 3.

The red tram will take guests from Turn 2 to the front entrance of Michigan International Speedway. It’s an easy way for fans to arrive at the New Holland Fan Plaza, located near the start-finish line.

Guests who park in Parking Lot 12, located across Brooklyn Highway, will also have a new updated route. In the past, a tram would shuttle fans to the pedestrian bridge located near Lot 12. After crossing the bridge, guests could board another tram to arrive at Turn 4. This year’s plan is much simpler and more convenient. Those who park in Lot 12 will now board a purple tram that will travel non-stop to Turn 4. It’s an easier route and much more convenient for those parking in that lot.

Trams will also run on Friday and Saturday. The red tram will take guests from the New Holland Fan Plaza to Turn 2 while the yellow tram will run from Graves Camping Area and will make stops near Parking Lot 6, at Turn 3 and ultimately end at Turn 4.

Fans are asked to please note the color of their inbound tram before the race. It will make departing the track an easier experience following the event. MAPS
