There are different people that run shuttles about a mile away. We feature large, level, gravel lots with easy access, - no mud. We have full service hook-ups with 30 and 50 amp electrical, water, and city sewage on each lot, (no more pump trucks ) We also have easy side access to convenience stores, gas, and fast food. We allow tent camping and generators, and have vendor spaces available. We have port o potties on site, and we are located next door to shower houses.

CAMPING on Talladega Speedway
All of Talladega Superspeedway's overnight parks outside the track will open on Tuesday of race week at 8 a.m.
Talladega Adds Alcohol-Free RV Parking Area: Champion's Corner, an enclosed RVs-only overnight parking area outside the track's first turn featuring a strict no-alcohol policy for all park residents and guests. In addition, the new Champion's Corner Overnight Park features:
- Water hook-ups and gravel surfaces for each of its 156 spaces
- Morning newspaper delivery to each guest's doorstep
- Special entertainment
- Children's activities and worship service Sunday morning provided by Alabama Raceway Ministries
The new Champion's Corner Overnight Park is the latest announcement from Talladega Superspeedway regarding projects expanding and improving its hundreds of acres of overnight parks. Reserved spaces in the new Champion's Corner are limited and may be purchased for $280 by calling the Talladega Superspeedway Ticket Office at 1-877-Go2-DEGA. (www.jayski.com)
TSS Expands Overnight Parking Areas The areas that have expanded include Family Parks B, C and D, which are located outside of the track on the southern end, near turn two. Spaces in these parks require reservations, and are available for purchase at $80 per space. Management has also increased capacity of its North Park, which is located across Speedway Boulevard outside the track's northern end, closest to turn three. Spaces are free to guests with race tickets in North Park, and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Another area developed for expansion is a new, free South Park, located outside the track to the south of the existing Free Family Park. It will be opened as needed for race attendees.
The new Champion's Corner Overnight Park is the latest announcement from Talladega Superspeedway regarding projects expanding and improving its hundreds of acres of overnight parks. In December 2006, track officials announced the expansion of several of its existing parks, including:
-Additional spaces for purchase in Reserved Family Parks B, C and D located outside of the track on the southern end, near turn two. Spaces in these parks require reservations, and are available for purchase at $80 per space.
-Additional capacity created within North Park, which is located across Speedway Boulevard outside the track's northern end, closest to turns three and four. Spaces in North Park are free to guests with Sunday race tickets and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
-Additional capacity under development in the new South Park, located outside the track to the south of the existing Free Family Park. The South Park will also be free to guests with Sunday race tickets and will be opened as needed for race attendees.
Additional Overnight Parks Changes:
-The overnight parks at Talladega Superspeedway formerly known as Reserved Family Parks I & II located outside of turn one have been renamed Winner's Walk I & II Reserved Family Parks.
-Starting this spring, all of Talladega Superspeedway's overnight parks outside the track will open on Tuesday of race week at 8 a.m.
-Starting this spring, all of Talladega Superspeedway's overnight parks inside and outside of the track must be cleared by 11 a.m. Monday following the race.
-Starting this spring, all Family Parks located outside turns one and two will close two hours following the Sunday race. No vehicles will be allowed in or out of these parks to help ensure the smooth flow of post-race traffic.
Talladega is a REAL RACE FAN paradise. Over 800 acres of FREE camping. Let me tell you folks, this is the biggest party you have ever seen. This & the Rock are the only 2 speedways where we camp on speedway property.
Reserved camping at Speedway: (256) 362-7223. I do not like the reserved camping at Talladega because
1. They pack you in like sardines.
2. They hold you up after the race
3. Parts of it are like the "bad side of town". We saw those folks in such a frenzy one time I thought they wanted a human sacrifice.
4. It is where one of the tunnels comes out of the infield & you know how I feel about that mess.
Free Camping on speedway property
Heading west, take exit number 173. There is a HUGE Fireworks store (DISCOUNT FIREWORKS (256) 831-1999 5859 SPEEDWAY BLVD, EASTABOGA) and Stuckey's located at this exit. No matter what time of the night we've come in it seems like they are open.
At the top of the exit ramp, take a left on to Speedway Blvd until you see the Talladega Dirt Track on your right and the store on your left. Free camping starts on the right hand side of the road past the dirt track. Past the speedway is more free camping on the right.
Take this route if you are on the back stretch or turn 4. There is a lot with hook-ups right before the store. Unless you camp there, do not camp or park on the same side of the road as the speedway if you take this route. You get caught up in the infield mess. There is a ton of camping across from the store to the speedway on the other side of the road.
Heading east take the Talladega/ Lincoln Exit 168 off of I-20, then go south on Highway 77 for less than one mile. Turn left onto Speedway Boulevard. The track and The International Motorsports Hall of Fame will be on the right three miles down Speedway Boulevard.
If your tickets are on the front stretch or turn 1 go in this way and camp before you get to speedway property. From where you turn onto Speedway Blvd for around 11/2 miles are a lot of people camping and parking fans in their yards. Some have hookups and some don't. Speedway camping will be next, then the speedway. What's good about this route, if you can leave the same way you come in and be on your exit route home, is that you are beyond the speedway traffic.
NEW PAID/RESERVED CAMPING LOCATED AT SPEEDWAY
Talladega's newest addition is the East Reserved Park, located on the trackside of Speedway Boulevard. The East Reserved Park is an RV-only, gated-community. There are gravel roads within the East Reserved Park, which is located outside the track beyond Turn 3. Fans can reserve one of the approximately 400 spots before leaving home for $100 a space. Fans can call toll free to claim their spot at 1-877-Go2-DEGA.
Legends Lane Reserved Family Park - Talladega Superspeedway offers more than 910 overnight parking spaces in its Reserved Family Parks located outside of Turns 1 & 2, and one of the most popular areas is Legends Lane, located outside of the track's first turn. The park consists of a select number of reserved gravel sites approximately 20' by 50' in size and is for RV's only.
All canopies must be part of the manufacturer's chassis, and while dining or mesh tents are allowed, sleeping tents are prohibited in the area. MORE
FROM OPEN ROADS FORUM: 5 cops stop by for coffee at Dega so we get a little extra info on the happenings. They say if their assigned to the campground on the north side of the Blvd they won't come. They call it a war zone.
Infield Shower House
Talladega Superspeedway’s infield shower house is located at the North end of the track in the Green Zone. The shower house is open 24 hours a day and is equipped with more than 35 showers.
Shower House, Water and Waste Stations on the outside
There are three restroom buildings with showers in the Family Parks. These are to be used by the guests who are staying in the Family Parks only. (outside of turn 1)
Water and waste stations are located behind the Talladega Superspeedway security building and the Family Park restrooms. (outside of turn 1)
Raceway Ministries to offer worship services at four sites
One-hour interdenominational worship services on Sunday throughout the property at four separate worship sites.
Other special activities and information are provided at the sites as well. One activity that has become increasingly popular is the Timothy Cup pinewood car races for children held on Saturdays of each race weekend at Ministry Sites Two and Three. The races begin one hour after the checkered flag drops on the Aaron’s 312 NASCAR Busch Series race Saturday afternoon. Ministry Site Two will host music groups offering performances Saturday morning and afternoon.
The newest service provided by Raceway Ministries is providing free children’s ID bands, which became an instant hit with parents bringing young ones to the racetrack. In addition to the armbands, representatives at the various worship sites also distribute Talladega Superspeedway Fan Guides which provide a wealth of information about the facility.
The worship sites and their locations are:
- Ministry Site One, near the Security and Guest Relations Center in the North Park.
- Ministry Site Two, near the Security and Guest Relations Center in the Family Park.
- Ministry Site Three, in the infield, near the middle of the back straightaway.
- Ministry Site Four, to the right of the track’s main entrance, adjacent to the archway that extends over the road.

Ministry Site One is located by the security building in the North Park. Ministry Site Two is located near the first security area in the triangle of the Family Park. Ministry Site Three is located in the infield, near the middle of the back straightaway. All worship services will be held at 9 a.m.
INDEPENDENT VENDORS
There are a slew of independent vendors in Talladega. As you come off exit 173 onto Speedway Blvd. there are some located in the fireworks store parking lot. A short way down on the left will be a good size group of vendors.
Directly across from the ticket office is another large group of vendors. They are food vendors here that have better than the normal racetrack food including breakfast.
